An original mixed media portrait on a thick Khadi cotton rag paper, with a lovely deckled edge. The narrative behind this beguiling creature, is of a life spent in service. Service of what I am unsure of; you can make up her story! The substrate is highly absorbent which causes the paint to take on a very pleasing matt quality, which in turn makes the portrait seem almost antique. Size approx. 21cm x 15cm.
